The Situation Before

Econo Auto Club had a broken website on an old Motors theme — URLs were generating 404 errors throughout. No lead capture, no tracking, and the dealer’s entire inventory lived only in a Facebook group. Every potential customer who found them online hit a dead end.

  • Broken website — old Motors theme with 404 errors throughout
  • No GA4, no Search Console, no schema markup
  • No lead capture — no forms, no CRM, no routing
  • All inventory posted only to a Facebook group — zero web presence
  • No Google Business Profile
  • Zero bilingual targeting despite serving Vietnamese and Spanish-speaking OC communities

What Was Built

A full system build — not just a website. The goal was to get leads flowing from search to the dealer’s phone and inbox within days of launch.

  • 12-page WordPress site: Homepage, 4 English city pages, 2 Spanish city pages, Inventory, Financing, About, Blog + 1 post
  • Chrome Extension (Manifest V3) — auto-scrapes Facebook group, uploads photos to WordPress, syncs inventory weekly with one click
  • Lead routing — custom PHP endpoint, Twilio SMS alerts, WP Mail SMTP via Gmail, honeypot spam filter
  • “Find My Car” form on every page in both English and Spanish
  • Full SEO — RankMath, LocalBusiness + AutoDealer schema, GA4, GSC, 301 redirects for all broken URLs
  • Bilingual city pages targeting OC submarkets including Little Saigon / Vietnamese-American audience

Why It Worked

Strategic Analysis

Bilingual city-specific pages targeted buyer-intent queries that large dealership sites ignore — giving a small independent dealer an edge in local search. The Chrome Extension eliminated manual inventory updates, keeping the site current without adding overhead. Lead routing via both SMS and email meant no inquiry was missed. The 11.2% CTR signals that page titles and meta descriptions are tightly aligned with what buyers are actually searching for.
